In 2008 Penny Johnson underwent a triple fusion to her neck C5-C7. In 2009, while working as an LPN, she was grabbed several times by patients by the right side of her neck. She had another operation on July 26, 2010 for her C1-C7, and several bars and light screws were put in. She had a broken screw in the C5 section.
On October 23, Penny visited a church in Reno at which a team from Bethel were ministering. The night before, she was crying out to God to heal her because of the great pain she endured. She could only sit for about two hours and would lie down to rest her neck. The day before she cried out to God, she had been informed that she would need a third neck operation, which was really beyond her budget.
The girl that prayed for her was praying for necks. Penny describes what happened as
God shooting “electricity” through the top of her head down her body to her feet, then a second shot down through her shoulders to her hands. She writes, “God has totally healed me. I believe I have no stiffness, no pain, and no problem going for eight hours plus.”
