It’s so wonderful when we see the Kingdom of God at work in all spheres of our lives. Charlie went to check his livestock and saw that some killdeers had hatched. The mama was upset and Charlie went out and saw two wing tips lying in the pasture. The mate was killed and probably from a hawk. He saw a baby killdeer dead on the ground. He picked it up so the cats wouldn’t come over. It was cold and stiff. Charlie said, “I speak life to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.” He kept it in his hand and brought it to the barn. He opened his hand up and the little thing raised its head and opened its beak up. He took it in the house and warmed it up and gave it honey water for energy.
