Chris Gore had 30 people with him on a mission trip to two cities, 9300 feet in the mountains of Ecuador. Among the at least 1200 healings they saw were 40 legally blind people healed and 40 deaf people healed and 20 visible tumors disappear. They got access into hospitals. He took a team into the ER. One man had been beat up the night before. He was in bad shape and was paralyzed in his legs. The gift of faith came on Chris and the man, who couldn't move his legs at all before, was out of bed and dancing. Doctors and nurses got healed. A man with hearing aids was instantly healed when Chris told him to take them out. He said, "It's like something came down from heaven and got me!" A man with crutches was completely paralyzed on one side of his body because of a stroke. His arm was working because of physical therapy. Chris prayed for him, and he was healed. A man leapt up and said, "I'm this man's doctor. I can verify he is healed!" Chris told him to show what he couldn't do before. He leapt off seven steps down to the floor.
The next night a young hemophiliac came in on crutches. He couldn't put any pressure on his ankles. They would bleed. He can go without crutches now!
Even when they went shopping, people were getting healed everywhere. They loved on a man who was cursing them and God and saying he didn't believe in healing or God. He finally let them pray, though, and he was completely healed. The next day, he found them in the streets and said, "I want you to introduce me to that Jesus."
Four Guatemalan pastors traveled with them and got breakthrough when they prayed for people.
They went to the medical clinic. The clinic had the eye specialist there one day and the diabetes specialist the other day. Three who were almost blind because of diabetes were healed.
Last year while there Chris Gore prayed for a lady with leukemia. The next day she went to Quito to get tests. She came back that night and said the doctor had told her it was gone. Chris searched for and invited her to come to the meeting this year. She had had a hard year and had fallen away from the Lord. Chris shared with her. She gave her life back to the Lord. Chris did a Sozo on her and her parents. Seven children released joy on her and laughed the thing out. He has a great five-minute video testimony of the whole story. She is walking in health.
One student said she had learned not to look at the situation but to look at heaven and pull it down. A naturally compassionate person, she could always provide comfort, but on this trip, she saw people healed, delivered and set free because of looking up and not at the circumstance. They were in a clinic run by a church, and a man wanted prayer for his eyes. As they prayed for him, the Lord showed her a picture. She saw him desolate, and she had the feeling he was suicidal. So she prayed for his eye, and she asked him something and he started to go into an intellectual discourse about how he viewed Christianity. He never came out with what the problem was. They were about to give up when he suddenly burst into tears and shared that he had left his first wife and children and had a new wife and child. He was so tormented because as a Catholic, he believed that divorce was unforgivable. They got him to see that God hated divorce, but he forgives all sin. They led him through the prayer of salvation and forgiveness. They also prayed for his former wife and children that God would heal the hurt in them. He left visibly lighter. Their translator in the afternoon took a taxi to go somewhere and out of the three or 400 drivers, the taxi driver ended up being that same guy. God was reinforcing what He had done.
A young girl called Valeria came to a meeting. She was not a Christian, but she was there with family members who had recently become Christians. She responded to a word of knowledge about pain in the uterus, and she was relieved of her pain. She was upset because her eye problem wasn't healed and left the meeting crying. But she ended up receiving Jesus. She changed quite a bit and received peace. The next night she came back and the same girl who had prayed for her uterus the night before prayed again, and she had a major breakthrough in deliverance.
They went to a children's home. They saw that the spirit of adoption permeated the atmosphere, and the children clearly knew they were loved.
In one of the hospitals in Ecuador, they went in a room with three patients. A man who had torn off the ligaments in his knee received prayer and he said he felt like he was receiving surgery. Mobility was restored and pain left. He came back to the Lord. A guy leaking blood from his kidney was healed. A man had cancer in his belly and a blood clot. He couldn't move his head. They prayed for his head, and the Holy Spirit told a team member that the blood clot was gone. One of the pastors from the church they went to was skeptical, but he was so rocked. After what he saw, he was so on fire when the team left.
At a hospital, they prayed for a girl of nine or ten who had multiple tumors in her stomach. They commanded the pain to leave, and after five minutes, the pain was completely gone. She was still weak, and they prayed strength into her body. Then they prayed for the tumors to leave. After a while the tumors were gone, and tears were running down her face. Her mom went to her bed and felt around her stomach looking for the tumors. As she realized the tumors were gone, tears came down her cheeks. The last they saw the girl, she was sitting up in bed smiling.
That afternoon, they were asked to pray for a native Indian woman who had had a tumor the size of a fist in her stomach.
A student expected to see amazing healings through his prayers. The team saw about 1200 miracles in all. But everyone who stood in front of that student received emotional healing. He was at first disappointed because others were seeing cancer healed, and he was seeing depression healed. God showed him that emotional healing was a miracle, too. He went to pray for someone who was crying. He released the presence of God on him. The man said he was feeling God's presence. Then the student released God's joy on him. The man went to the ground. The student put his hand on him and started laughing. Then they both started laughing. A girl said she wanted what he had. Then he took her hand and laughed uncontrollably. The girl started laughing again. God showed the student that emotional healing is just as important; it's still an encounter with the Lord. He did see some physical healings, too, but it was mostly emotional healings.
The last day of her trip, a student was asked to go with another girl to a hospital to pray for a woman who was about to be put on dialysis. The woman's whole family was in the hall depressed. The girls could feel the heaviness. They went in there and in the hallway, the sister of the woman spoke with them. She was deaf in her right ear and had heard a constant hissing sound for several years. They asked to pray for her ear. It started to open a little. They said, "We'll pray until it opens." About the fourth time, it opened, and the hissing stopped. She cried. Then they went to pray for her sister. They invited the presence of the Lord to come into the room. The student put her hand where the lady's kidneys were, and it felt hot. Her pain left and she received Jesus. Then they led her sister to the Lord. Joy came into the hospital ward.
