BSSM Grad Bears Much Fruit

February.24.09

Wow! The Lord is amazing!!! So many good things have been happening since I graduated from First Year at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in May of 2008. What I learned at school is literally transforming lives in my area.

I"ve been teaching classes on how people can gain personal freedom in their lives. Teaching these classes has opened a door for me to counsel. The counseling ministry has expanded beyond my expectations. Every week I am in awe at the people that contact me as a result of hearing what God has done in others. The tools and training that I received from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (especially SOZO and Trees of Life Training) fit every single situation and struggle. I am in awe! It really works! The Lord continues to send very wounded people and not one has walked away unchanged!

At first I was intimidated that their situations were over my head and that somehow they needed to see a professional counselor. Ha! The Holy Spirit quickly reminded me of the truth that He is a professional counselor and that when I partner with Him, all things are possible. Praise God that is true. I am no longer intimidated by who comes.

I am working with 30 people right now who have been in bondage for years to alcohol or drug addictions, physical or mental abuse, eating disorders, anger, divorce, or depression.

Last week I was asked to work with a very troubled 11-year-old. Unfortunately, at the age of 6 he began counseling but all the counselors did was to say he was ADHD and prescribe medication. On his first session, I presented Jesus and boy was he ever rocked! He and his parents are coming back this week for family counseling. Today I saw the young guy and he was so excited and could hardly wait for us to meet again.

About two months ago, I was contacted by an elder in a church in another state to help him gain freedom in his life. As a result of his freedom, several other people called me to work with them. Now the church has extended an invitation for me to come and teach a weekend conference on Freedom and Inner Healing.

Last week, a licensed counselor asked me if she could refer some clients my way. These clients cannot afford her fees and were asking if she knew of anyone that could provide free counseling. I am in awe. This is beyond my comprehension but so much fun! I am passionate about seeing others come into their freedom and destiny. Life is so incredibly good.

Two weeks ago a woman came to me with HEP C. She had basically accepted this diagnosis as her lot in life because of the choices she had made. She wanted counseling but didn"t really ask me to pray for her healing. Well, I did both! And God did both! He healed her completely of any trace of HEP C. The doctor's report confirmed it. Not only did the Lord heal her physically, but what He is doing each week through counseling is beyond incredible!

Then, yesterday a woman asked me to pray for her dying sister. Apparently C. has been addicted to drugs and alcohol all of her life. That lifestyle resulted in significant damage to her liver and overall health. C. was at a local hospital"s Emergency Room and was in significant pain. The sister wanted me to pray that God would not allow her to suffer any longer. When she said that, something in my spirit said yes, pray against suffering but not as they expect; pray for the suffering and pain to come to an end today upon this earth. I heard, "Release my Kingdom upon this earth," so I did. I told the sister that God was going to baffle even the doctors at His work. Guess what? This morning that is exactly what happened. The sister is free of any pain and the doctors do not have a medical explanation for her turnaround.

Recently, the chaplain of a local women"s prison asked me if I would come and teach a one-day Self Esteem Conference for the ladies. I am so excited about this opportunity, so I have asked to bring several of the students from my classes to come and assist me in doing ministry. I want the students to minister by doing prophetic drawings and words of encouragement. Can you imagine what these drawings will do to change the atmosphere in their prison cell?

My life has totally changed as a result of Bethel. I am living and experiencing heaven upon earth. Praise God.

And I am most grateful for Bethel TV! Please extend my gratitude. WOW. Praise God. He has made a way for me to continue to live in Bethel"s culture.

Those who call Bethel their "home" church regularly give a tithe to the Lord. The word "tithe" means "tenth" and it is a way of honoring God with the first 10% of our income.
