Man Healed at Site of Accident

August.22.07

Two Bethel pastors were at Laguna Niguel last Sunday night and heard this testimony. On her way to church, a lady witnessed a car crash and pulled over. "OK, Lord. What do you want me to do? I'm stopped. I'm ready." The police and ambulance came. She got out of her car and stood over observing. "Lord, I stopped because I want to do something." A man was lying on a gurney with no one around him. She leaned over and said, "Are you OK?" He exclaimed, "You're the angel! I saw you before the accident!"

She said, "What's going on?"

"I can't feel my legs."

"Can I pray for you?"

She prayed, then asked, "Can you feel anything?"

"My legs are tingling."

"Do you know Jesus?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you talk to him? Do you feel him? Is he in your heart? Is he in your life?"

"No."

"Would you like him to be?"

"Yes," he said and prayed with her to receive the Lord. The whole time he kept saying, "You're the angel. I saw you."

Then he sat up on his gurney and started walking around.

A policeman ran over and asked, "What did you do to him?"

"I didn't do anything. Jesus healed him and Jesus saved him," she answered truthfully.

"I'm going to need to write a report from you," replied the policeman.

"Just write, "Jesus healed him and Jesus saved him,'" she repeated.

"I can't write that!"

"Then I'm not signing the report."

So he wrote, and she said, "Can I see what you wrote?"

He showed her, and, pleased, she said. "OK."

Those who call Bethel their "home" church regularly give a tithe to the Lord. The word "tithe" means "tenth" and it is a way of honoring God with the first 10% of our income.
