Each marriage has a goal. Do you know what your goal in marriage is? For far too many, the goal is to keep a safe distance from one another. Therefore, the practices and processes of communication and behavior move the couple toward creating distance. Arguments, criticisms, and accusations fill the mouth of those with this goal in mind. Once couples realize their goal, they can begin to practice something completely different, producing a very different result. But, even if the goal is different, how do we now practice sending "I love you very much" messages?
