Writing Unto the Glory is a mentoring workshop for those interested in writing. Current writers and novices alike will find something to inspire them in their written expression. Three concurrent workshops will take place in morning and afternoon sessions covering such diverse topics as article and book writing, publishing, grammar, editing, the relationship between speaking and writing, writing for children, drama writing, writing to teach and receiving inspiration as we enter into the presence of the Lord.
PRESENTERS:
JULIA LOREN started her writing career as a newspaper reporter and editor. She has written articles for well-known magazines such as Christianity Today, Discipleship Journal, Charisma, Aglow, Voice of the Prophetic/Elijah’s Rain, Renewal Journal. Her books include The Note on the Mirror (Zondervan, 1990), Engle v. Vitale (Greenhaven, 2000), Healing the Wounds of Open Adoption (Adoption Counsel Press, 2000), Breaking the Spirit of Despair (Tharseo, 2006), Dancing in the Fullness of Joy (Tharseo, 2006), Receiving the Crown of Courage (Tharseo, 2007), Shifting Shadows of Supernatural Power (Destiny Image) and the forthcoming, Shifting Shadows of Spiritual Experiences.

THERESA DEDMON has been involved in writing since she was young and won awards for her poetry in high school. She has written and directed dramas for the past 16 years for outreach, the church and missions. She currently leads the Arts Department of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM), where she is one of the overseers of the second-year program. She also leads a Prophetic Arts Outreach Team on a weekly basis with 75 Bethel students who write and perform dramas as well as do prophetic art throughout the Redding area. Recently, she wrote a children’s drama for a mission trip, and 1,100 children came to Christ as a result of watching it. She has a heart for writers to influence the arts field both in poetic form as well as dramatic writing.
BONNIE JOHNSON is a Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry graduate who serves as a Bible instructor and director of the third-year BSSM program. Bonnie has written curriculum for BSSM classes. Having ministered as a youth group, cell group and women’s ministry leader, she brings a wealth of experience to the school. Her desire is to impart a deep love and hunger for God’s Word and Spirit and to see the students activated and released into the fulfillment of God’s destiny for their lives.
YVONNE MARTINEZ is a published author and conference speaker. She worked with C.L.A.S.S. (Christian Leaders, Authors, and Speakers Services) for many years. Yvonne began sharing her testimony at luncheons, prisons and conference workshops in 1985 and was a frequent guest on radio and television programs. Her book, From Victim to Victor, along with a leadership guide was published in 1994 by Recovery Publications, and Yvonne is currently working on another book.
DEBORAH REED is a staff member at Bethel Church, who trains people internationally in leading children into the fullness of the Holy Spirit. She is the author of several books, including God Has Nice Things to Say—A Children’s Prophetic Training Manual, a Children’s r Curriculum, Quarter 1 and other books. She is working on a revival series for children. Her strength in this field is to write and teach in the language that communicates effectively to children.
PAM SPINOSI currently divides her time between serving as the Testimony Writer for Bethel Church and teaching English in local colleges. She holds a Master of Arts degree in English and loves to write articles, children’s stories, allegories, skits and puppet plays. Occasionally her articles will appear in the journal section of the Bethel Church website. Pam enjoys helping people find their voice and perfect their craft. Though she lives life primarily out of her right brain, she is a grammar enthusiast, whose latest crusade concerns preserving the vanishing apostrophe.
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS:
BILL JOHNSON is the Senior Pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, CA. He is a fifth-generation pastor with a rich heritage in the things of the Spirit. Bill teaches and ministers in apostolic authority, believing that healing and deliverance must become the common expression of this gospel of power once again. Healings ranging from cancer to broken bones, learning disorders to emotional healing happen on a regular basis in his ministry. Bill preaches throughout the nation and world ministering at conferences, proclaiming the message, "Let it be on earth as it is in Heaven!" He believes that we owe the world an encounter with God. He is anointed to impart the gift of healing and is the author of five books: When Heaven Invades Earth, The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind, Dreaming with God, Strengthen Yourself in the Lord and a forthcoming book, Face to Face with God.
