Lou gives a sobering warning to our modern day society, "The temptation in all of our lives will be this: Will you live intensely or will you settle." We are called to be pioneers not settlers.

Lou shares; "Every revival is a divine eruption of someone's sacrifice of love." Abraham's whole life was a series of divine subtractions. "Leave your family. Leave your city. Leave your place of prominence." And finally, the ultimate test of subtraction, "GIVE ME YOUR SON, WHOM YOU LOVE."

Abraham essentially said, "I have lost everything, but I have the God of heaven and earth."
