The purpose of the Pastor on Call ministry (POC)
is to respond to people who call or stop by the church needing assistance from a pastor. Our goal is to bring those in crisis into an encounter with the living God—not to be an ongoing support system. We believe that is for your local church.
Our volunteers share the love and power of God as they minister to people all over the world—encouraging them in the truth of God’s Word and contending with them for the victory they need. Volunteers are here to pray with you Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, at (530) 255-2066.
POC also works in close partnership with other ministries at Bethel Church, often referring people to the Healing Rooms, the Transformation Center and Community Life for further ministry and support.
