Bethel Healing Rooms is a member of the International Association of Healing Rooms

The purpose of the Healing Rooms is to prayerfully minister to those who are suffering from physical ailments. For inquiries about our Healing Rooms, please call 530-246-6000.

Time: The Healing Rooms are open every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Appointments are not necessary, but those in need of prayer must arrive before 10:30 AM.

Location: The Healing Rooms are located inside Bethel Church. Visit our Directions page for more details on travel as well as a map to the church. Inside the North Lobby (where the HeBrews coffee Shop resides) you will find greeters who will assist you to register and answer your questions.

Cost: Ministry in the Healing Rooms is provided at no cost. Those who wish to make a tax-deductible donation to the Healing Rooms may do so at either of the Love offering boxes located in the hallway. All donations are used to maintain and improve the level of excellence in the Healing Rooms Ministry.

The Healing Rooms Ministry is not equipped to minister to those seeking emotional healing, deliverance or prophetic ministry. We recommend that those interested in this type of ministry contact the church offices at 530-246-6000 or email info@ibethel.org. Bethel’s Transformation Center, which ministers to those in need of inner healing, works by appointment and can take several weeks so please plan ahead if you are traveling to Redding.

Preparing to Visit

If you are coming from out of town to Bethel’s Healing Rooms, we’d like to suggest that you stay in Redding for a few days if possible to experience Bethel’s atmosphere more fully. In addition to Saturday's Healing Rooms, we make time to pray for people at the end of our church services, which are held on Friday night and Sunday morning and night. We also encourage you to spend some time in the Alabaster House, Bethel’s beautiful 24/7 prayer chapel, where you can soak in God’s presence and rest in His peace. If God’s creation inspires you, Redding is a place from which you can take short day trips into the surrounding countryside. Shasta Lake is just north of Redding on I-5, and about an hour’s drive farther north is snow-capped Mount Shasta and the high country surrounding it. Famous Burney Falls is an hour and a half to the northeast on Highway 299. Fifty miles to the east on Highway 44 is Lassen National Forest, a beautiful region that boasts thick forests, volcanic rock formations, and bubbling sulfuric mud pools. To the west is Whiskeytown Lake, and over the westward mountains are the northwestern beaches and the famous redwood forests. Within the city limits are many parks, the Sundial Bridge, and miles of bike trails along the Sacramento River.

Preparing Your Heart

At Bethel, we believe that God’s will is always "Life and Life More Abundantly." We believe that God is always Good, and it is always His will to heal. Healing is more about His Goodness and Grace and the price Jesus paid than it is about our performance. As you prepare for your visit to Bethel, we encourage you to prepare your heart to receive from Him by meditating on His Goodness. He gives us great and precious promises in the scriptures regarding health, healing, wholeness, and experiencing His Righteousness, Peace and Joy. We encourage you to read and declare those promises of God over yourself, thanking and praising Him for them. It is often beneficial to personalize His promises, speaking them in the first person between yourself and God. Here is an example from Psalm 103:

"I will bless You Lord with all my soul and not forget Your many Benefits. You forgive ALL my iniquities and You heal ALL my diseases. You redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Loving Kindness and Tender Mercies; You satisfy my mouth with Good Things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s."

And from Isaiah 53:4,5:

"Surely You have born my grief, and carried my sorrows ... But You were wounded for my transgressions, You were bruised for my iniquities; the punishment that brought me peace was placed upon You, and by Your wounds I am healed."

Matthew 8:17 quotes the same verse from Isaiah with these words:

"... You Yourself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses...."

Healing Rooms Online

How It Works

For Existing Skype Users -
(1) Open up your Skype program, log-in, & find our accounts (Bethelhealingrooms, Bethelhealingrooms2 and Bethelhealingrooms3).
(2) Simply press the blue message icon (next to the green telephone icon) on one of our account names and write your NAME, LOCATION, and PRAYER REQUEST. Then press send.
(3) We will then contact you when we are available.

For Non Skype Users -
(1) Go to http://skype.com/ & download Skype for either your Mac or PC
(2) Follow the installation & setup instructions for Skype & your web cam
(3) Follow the instructions posted above For Existing Skype Users
