The Hem of His Garment Healing Schools are designed and run by Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Bethel, under the direction of Pastor Bill Johnson (author of When Heaven Invades Earth and Face to Face With God,) has become a community of believers who live a naturally supernatural lifestyle, see miracles happen throughout their daily lives and know that Jesus’ healing power is available today.
The Healing Schools are lead by Joaquin Evans, the director of Bethel’s Healing Rooms Ministries, where people come from all over the globe to receive ministry, and where the miraculous power of Jesus and creative miracles have become common and expected. Each of the schools’ speakers is a leader in Bethel’s healing movement, and all are sought internationally for both their experience and the powerful ways in which God uses them. Sessions will teach, impart and activate the healing gifts, increase understanding of how to carry the anointing, and explain how to create an atmosphere of faith. Participants will have ample opportunity to practice what they are “catching,” and if they wish, to join the team as they take healing to the streets. Also, pastors and ministry leaders will learn ways to cultivate and maintain an atmosphere conducive to healing in their churches and ministries.
The Goodness of God is central to all we do, and therefore the Healing Schools overflow with the joy and freedom of the Lord. The Kingdom truly is at hand, and it really is “easier than we think!” Come join us as we dive into the presence of God and pull on The Hem of His Garment. You will go home fuller than you came!
This school is 4½ days long, featuring sessions with approximately twelve
Bethel pastors. Worship times will be led by Kim Walker, Bryan and Katie Torwalt and other special guests. In addition to the speaking and worship sessions, attendees will
experience ministry from our intercessors, (a “Holy Spirit day spa”)
and Bethel's own Healing Rooms ministry. Two catered meals are
included.

BILL JOHNSON
Senior Leader of Bethel Church, is a fifth generation pastor with a rich heritage in the things of the Spirit. He serves a growing number of churches that have partnered for revival. This apostolic network has crossed denominational lines in building relationships that enable church leaders to walk in both purity and power. The present move of God has brought Bill into a deeper understanding of the phrase, "On earth as it is in heaven." Heaven is the model for our life and ministry. Learning to recognize the Holy Spirit's presence, and how to follow His lead will enable us to do the works of Christ, destroying the works of the devil. Bill and the Bethel Church family have taken on this theme for life and ministry. He teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God, and that a Gospel without power is not the Gospel that Jesus preached. Bill is the author of several books, including “Face to Face With God” and “Dreaming With God.”
JOAQUIN EVANS
Joaquin is the Director of Bethel’s Healing Rooms and Healing Homes ministries. He also hosts “The Hem of His Garment” International Healing Schools, designed to equip leaders from the nations in the healing ministry of Jesus. Joaquin served as a staff pastor with Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry for 2 years. He is a graduate of BSSM and San Francisco State University. In addition to the healing ministry, Joaquin preaches and teaches at many churches both here and abroad, releasing and imparting Bethel’s culture of Revival. He has a heart for missions and leads teams around the world that see God move in miracles, signs and wonders. Joaquin’s desire is to see God displayed in love and power and to see His Bride developed, so that Jesus gets His full reward.
DANNY SILK
Danny is the Family Life Pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, and brings a wealth of pastoral experience and gifted insight to the ministry. He is an extraordinary communicator and is well known for his practical and humorous style of teaching. Through anointed teaching and counseling, he focuses on cultivating a culture of community by strengthening interpersonal relationships in the body. Danny also serves Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry as a guest lecturer and overseer of the counseling training for both first and second year students.
KEVIN DEDMON
Kevin has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and has a B.A. in Biblical studies and a M.A. degree in Church Leadership studies from Vanguard University. Kevin is currently the director of our Firestorm ministry, which sends teams to local churches for the purpose of demonstrating the revival culture of Bethel Church. These teams impart, empower, and activate the church to live naturally in the supernatural, so that the atmosphere in both the church and the community is transformed. Kevin is also the director of Bethel’s vocational ministry deployment, providing placement opportunities for graduating students and alumni of our School of Supernatural Ministry. He teaches Kingdom Keys and New Testament Revival Theology in the School of Supernatural Ministry, as well as providing pastoral oversight in the second year class.
CHRIS GORE
Chris was a Pastor in New Zealand before coming to Bethel where he graduated from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. He is now the Associate Director of Bethel’s Healing Rooms and Healing Homes. While having an unquenchable hunger for HIS presence, Chris’ passion is to see ordinary saints walking in extraordinary exploits by releasing the kingdom through healings and miracles. He desires to see the church walkin a kingdom mindset and the full inheritance that Jesus paid for. He is married with three daughters.
ERIC JOHNSON
Eric oversees Bethel Missions and is the Senior Overseer for 2nd year BSSM at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Eric is a 6th generation pastor with a hunger to see people experience the power of God in their lives. His passion lies in the transformation of nations. His wife, Candace and him have been involved in international ministry since they were young. They have two beautiful daughters that make them extremely proud parents.
BANNING LIEBSCHER
Banning is the pastor of Awakening Youth Movement, a passionate group of young people, from Jr. High through Young Adults, who are impacting their city through prayer and signs and wonders. He is also the director of Jesus Culture Conferences that are held around the world - events where youth and young adults can encounter God, be trained and equipped in the realm of the supernatural, and sent into their city to minister in power. Banning’s passion is to see people fall madly in love with Jesus, demonstrate the power of God, and give themselves to a life of prayer for worldwide revival. His heart is to ignite a prayer movement and raise up and release healing revivalists in cities around the world.
DAWNA DESILVA
Dawna DeSilva is the Founder and Co-Leader of the International Healing and Deliverance Sozo Ministry birthed at Bethel Church. Whether training pastors and leaders in Sozo, teaching on destiny, or ministering prophetically, she releases people, churches and cities into new vision and freedom. No matter how traumatic the woundings, Dawna ministers with authority and gentleness, imparting hope and healing.
THERESA DEDMON
Theresa is the Assistant Leader for the 2nd Year program at BSSM. She has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years with her husband, Kevin. She leads in the creative arts and works to see them released in the church and the world. She has a B.A. in Psychology (minor in Biblical Studies) from Vanguard University.
DEBORAH REED
Deborah oversees the spiritual development of children's ministries, conferences, training, outreach, and any activity directed towards children and their leaders here at Bethel. She is a teacher and speaker who trains and equips the church in the raising of the next generations to walk in the power and love of God.
CHRIS OVERSTREET
Chris, a graduate of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, is passionate about an intimate relationship with Jesus, out of which flows a lifestyle of ministering the Kingdom of God around him. It is common for miracles, salvations, and life transformations to be taking place as a result of Chris living his life, and encouraging and equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry.
DEANNA WARNER
Deanna Warner is the Preschool/Nursery Pastor at Bethel Church. She and her husband Kurt, along with their three children, have been involved in children’s ministry for 11 years. She has a passion to see children and babies experience God’s manifest presence and confidently grow into their destinies. Deanna’s heart is also to see God’s “little giants” live out revival.
KIM WALKER
Kim
Walker is an amazing vocalist and worship leader here at Bethel. She is
driven with passion by her love for God which is contagious in her
worship. Kim has written numerous songs and has just released a new CD,
“This is my Song.” She is the Worship Administrator at Bethel Church and also leads worship for Jesus Culture.
BRYAN AND KATIE TORWALT
Bryan and Katie Torwalt are the worship pastors of The River Church in Fresno, California. They share a love for the presence of God, a desire to discover new sounds and a passion for worship. Their contagious joy creates an atmosphere of freedom that releases a fresh touch of the Father’s love and a revelation of His abundant goodness, and all who worship with them are blessed by their genuine hearts after God.
