Core Croups

Core Groups consist of 5-8 people meeting in homes on an on-going basis with the goal of creating spiritual communities that are deeply connected over time. Men’s and Women’s groups are formed for the purposes of relationship, sharing, and prayer. Accountability, discipleship, and community develop as members of these groups become vulnerable and committed to one another under trained leadership.  To see a video about Core Groups, click play.

The Lord has raised up a specialized model of core groups called TLC (Transition Leading to Community). These groups minister to the needs of those who have been significantly wounded and who have difficulty developing intimacy. The TLC groups are lead by selected leaders who are helping people to deal with the issues and problems in a more effective way. People are experiencing love, value and wholeness in amazing ways in these groups.

There are also specialized ministry-focus groups that incorporate a core group model. Some of the groups are:

  • Purity Pursuit, a group for men – www.puritypursuit.com
  • Domino Ministry, apost-abortion ministry to women – www.dominoministries.org
  • Mother’s workshop, implementing parenting tools for mothers
  • Women’s groups, healing sexual brokenness
  • “It’s Time” Women of Destiny, empowering women through intimate relationship with God

To get connected in a Core Group, please fill out our survey and return it to church office or the Bethel Connections Information Booth in the HeBrews Lobby on Sunday mornings.
