God has opened avenues to reach the children of our community!

In the first year since the doors opened for Operation Power Surge to share the Gospel in public schools, over 200 children from 6 different schools received Christ as their savior. The hour-long weekly ministry is one of the after-school electives children can choose to attend with their parent's permission. Altar calls and personal prayer time are an important part of the service, which also includes games, puppets, songs, dramas and face painting. Surge teaches the children important values such as staying in school, respecting authority, saying no to drugs and gangs, loving our country, and how special each one of them is to God.
