Good evening America and that's not a throw-away greeting. Sometimes you have to find where a place is. America is here. I pray to God it's also in other places in your nation. See, one of the reasons why you have a drought in this region is not because of a problem with this region. It's because of a battleground of America. This is not coming heavily premeditated. But I do seek to, like you do, pray as [I] come into a place I find because I'm a geographic person. I want to be married to a place…
I say good evening America because I believe there's something among you where you have a marriage to America in this house and where you get a marriage to a place, you get a representation on the earth of that place. When you get a representation on the earth of that place, you have a place or a people that both have an ability to shift something for what they represent and what they've married. And also, they will experience manifestations of that which is troubling what they're married to. The drought of this region is not a regional manifestation, it is a national manifestation. You must not confuse the two. It is not a sign it has something to do with the region, but It is a sign with regard to the nation. That's why you do need to see the windows of heaven open in terms of physical rain.
Signs in scripture are not arbitrary signs. They are theologically called intrinsic signs. Something that is intrinsic actually carries the very meaning it represents in picture form, very visibly, what it's pointing to. That's why healings, deliverances, raisings of the dead are Kingdom signs because they carry intrinsically what the Kingdom is about. An arbitrary sign is, for example: I prophecy over you and say, "God's going to come with great financial blessing to you and the sign when you go home is every window in your house will be open." Well, that's an arbitrary sign. Where's the connection? But if I said, "God's coming to you in this season and winds are going to blow through your whole household like never before and the sign will be when you get home all your windows will be open." Now we have a connection. When the window opens, what blows? Wind. That's an intrinsic sign. And therefore, intrinsic signs you can see and scripture says there's drought in the land. That's where the battleground is at this point in time.
[In] 2004, I actually prophesied a number of places that your election in 2008 would be the most confusing one for believers and 2012 would be harder still. Well, we can keep the stones at bay for another 4 years. I think part of it is God really wants to straighten our thinking. The problems nor the solution[s] are in the White House. The problems are what manifest among the body of Christ and the solutions are there. That makes things a lot closer to hand. That's what we have to get clear about. That what I believe where the battleground is. Now therefore back to my greeting, "good evening America." It's a privilege to be here with a group of people who have married this nation. And because you have done that, I believe there is a manifestation among you that you can shift something for the nation. Part of the sign, I think, will be almost certainly a response from the physical heavens in terms of rain. Rain is a very common sign. When I was in Brazil last time I said, "What's coming in Brazil... the powers... church powers is there often the problem." Far bigger problem than political powers. The reason being is Jesus gave all authority to His disciples, so what we do with all authority is going to cause more problems or solutions than what delegated authority is going to carry out. While we were there I said, "the sign will be the rivers will burst the banks and the biggest floods I think in 30 years." Virtually every river in the nation burst its banks because it's a sign, it's an intrinsic sign. The boundaries will no longer be the old boundaries. So you do need to press in for the heavens to open and for God to make it a clear sign.
